As the month winds down, I’ve been doing a little reflecting—about time, about stories, and about the beautiful ways old things find new life. And more than anything, I’ve been thinking about you, and the role you play in that magic.

Every piece I offer holds a story. Sometimes it’s in the chippy paint that’s weathered just right, or in the smooth edges of wood worn down by decades of use. Other times, it’s tucked between the yellowing pages of an old book, or etched in the delicate curves of a vase that once held blooms on someone’s wedding day. But here’s the part that never stops amazing me: the moment that piece finds its way into the hands of someone who gets it—who sees the charm, the history, the soul—and gives it a new chapter.

This month, I’ve absolutely loved seeing your posts, your tags, your photos. A handmade barn board horse—crafted from the wood of a proud old Wisconsin barn—now standing tall in your home, radiating rustic charm. A dainty 1900s bride’s vase filled with fresh tulips, catching the spring light just so on your windowsill. These moments bring me so much joy.

Because when you welcome a repurposed piece into your space, you’re doing something special. You’re saying yes to character over perfection. Yes to craftsmanship, to stories, to soul. And that means more than I can say.
